We had a minor hiccup during our stay at Abell Hotel. The reception misplaced our receipt for a trip to the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, causing us worry. However, they eventually found it, and the staff's friendly and efficient service made up for the inconvenience. The convenient location near shopping malls and the waterfront, as well as the abundance of food options, added to the positive experience. I would recommend this hotel based on the friendly staff and convenient location.

The location of the hotel it's so strategic, nice to walking around the city without taking a cab/public transport and near to interesting place to visit and most important, can save budget for cost of transport. The staff are so nice and friendly.
The room's hotel not really big and comfort because no windows to see the view of the city,no swimming pool and it's like staying at hostel enviroment.

Overall clean hotel in the heart of Kuching. Comfortable bed in the superior queen room, plus a kettle and a storage space. Fast check-in, late check-out. Not to mention fast wifi! Location very close to the center and many shops and a mall within walking distance and a mamak restaurant right across the road. Also, near the new chinatown which very nice to have a walk there.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a great location. It's just a stone's throw away from the iconic Cat statue, making it perfect for those who want to explore the city on foot. The rooms are clean and modern, with attention to detail like a real shower in the bathroom and a small window for natural light. The staff here are friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. Plus, the rates are very reasonable and breakfast is included. Definitely a value for money find!
No negatives, everything was perfect!

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the middle of the town with a mall within walking distance and a mamak restaurant right across the road should you not want to eat at the cafe. The security at the car parks is top-notch, providing peace of mind for guests. The beds are wonderful, offering a comfortable night's sleep. The staff is attentive and provides great service.
All was satisfactory in this hotel, nothing to complain about.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked our day trips from the travel desk based in the hotel. We did request for packing material and they were sent up very quickly.
When we arrived, we were told that it will take 10mins for our room to be ready. At this point, we decided we were to go out for lunch and upon returning about 45-60mins later, we were told that our rooms were not ready. We were a little concern as we had a day tour to catch and wanted to be able to freshen up after our morning flight in to Kuching. We had to wait for a further 10mins and when we went up to our room, housekeeping was still vacuuming the room. Not a big negative point but possibly an area of improvement to look into. Throughout, the staff were apologetic which made the wait more bearable.

It is a very new hotel. Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly. They upgrade our superior standard room to superior view room without charging.
Rooms are not sound-proofing. Can hear people talking outside and your next door is watching tv...

I had a great Easter break in a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the complimentary welcome drink and Easter chocolates in the room. The central location was perfect, surrounded by amazing restaurants and within walking distance to the main attractions. The room was well-equipped and had a stunning view of the city from the window.
The cleanliness was not up to par, with some areas lacking attention to detail. The bathroom was not as clean as I expected, and the bed sheets could have been fresher.
